New content
- New ranged enemy; more range than vinespear but less than spitters
- New large enemy; very strong, will target nearby walling flora
Changes
- Replaced physical damage visual effect
- Set all levels to have a specific number of waves, allowing the player to win. Endless mode will return in future
- Time between enemy spawns of a wave is now calculated based on the size of the wave; larger waves will spawn enemies faster
- expanded the info available on the end game screen
- Improved path finding - Enemies will now also find targets within their range to attack that are near their path
Improved difficulty scaling
Previously the difficulty modifier simply doubled enemy spawns from map level 3 and above which was a terrible placeholder. Now it scales much more smoothly but is no less intense at higher levels:
- Provides a % increase for enemy waves creation score (more enemies, stronger enemies arrive earlier.)
- Increases the duration that enemy artifacts will remain active
